Unfortunately there will be no Cello lessons this term. We will notify you when lessons start again after Easter.
In the meantime the violin instructors will be happy to tune your cello.
If there are any problems you can telephone the Music Co-Ordinator, Mr. Ken McLeod on 01224/346223.
Mrs. Neil, Cello Instructor is looking forward to seeing you as soon as possible.
A flyer went home informing parents of the annual Spring Fayre.
This is the biggest fundraiser of the year. Donations have been handed in to the school and is much appreciated. We would still welcome donations in the form of Easter Eggs, Raffle Prizes, Books, Toys, CD’s (no videos or bric-a-brac), Lucky Dip Prizes (to the value of 50p unisex and wrapped), Bottles (for the bottle stall).
Home Bakes, are also needed, please hand these into the school on 13 March or into the school on the morning of the Fayre after 10 a.m.
Any volunteers for setting up or helping on the day please contact Alison Yule 734701 or the school office and leave your name and telephone numbers.
Thank you for your assistance with this, it is our children who benefit, so all help is greatly appreciated.

On 11 March 2009 the Photographer from Tempest Limited will be in school taking class photographs only of all our pupils who wish to have their photograph taken. More details will follow later.
Please note that Mrs. Suttar who teaches our pupils Piano was not in Culter School on 19 February 2009 and will not be in school until 12 March.
Just a reminder that the final payment for the Dalguise Trip in May 2009 should be in school by 6 March 2009.
Just a reminder to inform you that there will be a meeting for parents to-night in Culter School at 7 p.m. relating to Internet Safety.
You will be aware that the Internet is a wonderful tool which can help children to learn and find out about the world. We need to be aware however of the dangers which children can be exposed to through use of the Internet.
We believe parents need to know and understand how to protect young people on the Internet.
PC Derek Bain, our Police Liaison Officer, will be in school to-night to talk to parents about Internet Safety.
There will be a chance to ask questions and to find out more about protecting your child and how you can teach them to ’stay safe’ when they are online.
All parents are welcome.
We look forward to seeing you.
